Systems Approaches for Healthy Communities: Webinars Presented June 14 & 28 by the University of Minnesota Extension|
This event expires on June 28, 2017
Systems Approaches for Healthy Communities is a professional development program, designed for health professionals, that promotes the integration of policy, systems, and environmental (PSE) interventions with educational strategies.
In it’s infancy, this program emerged from a two-part training series developed for local public health in Minnesota in 2014. After further development, it was piloted tested with University of Minnesota Extension Health and Nutrition staff in 2015. The program was peer reviewed in 2016 and pilot tested again in 2017 with two additional agencies: Michigan State University Extension and Iowa Department of Public Health. The final version will be available starting October 2017.
