We are pleased to announce that $1000 of those donations were made in memory of Lynda Alfred, a long-time ASPHN consultant who passed away in March 2016 following a short battle with multiple myeloma. The ASPHN Board of Directors met on March 10, 2017. The Board:
Welcomed new Expanded members Payal Arora (NJ), Kayla Brandt (NE), Beverly Brockington (SC), Lisa Caldwell (WY), Chris Fogelman (MT), Vanessa Hodack (CO), Michelle Locke (NY), Kristin McCartney (WV), Lenora Phillips (MS), Lori Porter (CA), Tamika Trotman (NJ) and Renee Wing (NY) and new Associate members Mary Beth Anderson, Maridet Castro Ibanez, Melissa Pryputniewicz, and Lisa Richards;
Passed a motion to add the ASPHN logo to the World Breastfeeding Trends Initiative (WBTi), United States Assessment report cover; and
The ASPHN Board of Directors will be meeting together to work on the Strategic Plan in Salt Lake City on April 3rd and 4th.
